Who we are

Two mates, one strange idea

We started Strange Cane because spiced rum had gone one of two ways — cheap party stuff drowning in pirates and palm trees, or stuffy bottles taking themselves far too seriously. We wanted the bit in the middle: genuinely good rum you'd actually recommend to a mate, without the nonsense.

So that's what we make. Small batches, bold flavours, full strength, and so smooth it's strange.
